About Me

I began my legal career in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice before moving into legal education, where I spent nearly a decade as a director at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. There I launched new and collaborative career-oriented initiatives, supported hundreds of lawyers as they launched their careers and made career transitions within competitive employment landscapes, and helped legal employers across sectors recruit high level talent. I also served as Senior Counsel to Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, where I worked on health, housing, election, and criminal justice matters, helped launch the state’s first parental leave program, and guided the office on ethics laws and policies.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College and my law degree from the University of California, Davis, School of Law.

Based in Phoenix, Arizona, I also serve on the board of the Phoenix Legal Action Network, a movement-lawyering immigrant justice organization that serves the Phoenix immigrant community.
