About Me

I began my legal career in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice before moving into legal education, where I spent nearly a decade as a director at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. There I launched new and collaborative initiatives designed to promote careers in public service, supported hundreds of lawyers as they launched their careers and made career transitions within competitive employment landscapes, and helped legal employers across sectors recruit high level talent. I served as Senior Counsel to Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, where I worked on health, housing, election, and criminal justice matters, helped launch the state’s first parental leave program, and guided the office on ethics laws and policies. And I currently consult for higher education institutions including Arizona State University School of Law and the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College and my law degree from the University of California, Davis, School of Law.

Based in Phoenix, Arizona, I love spending time with my young daughter and husband, hiking the Arizona nature preserves, vegetable gardening, and serving on the board of the Phoenix Legal Action Network, a movement-lawyering immigrant justice organization that serves the Phoenix immigrant community.
